Branch Out – The Tree Festival Symposium

We need trees & trees need us! This exciting event brings together nature lovers, professionals and community members to explore the world of trees and how we can plant, protect and care for them.

• 9:30am: Coffee and sign in
• 10.00am: Expert talks and discussion
• 2.00pm: Roundtable buzz sessions, refreshments and networking.
• 4:30pm: Chapter 34 – Shoreham’s independent bookshop – book signings.
• 5:30pm: Close

Celebrate our wonderful Sussex trees with Susan Raikes, Director of Wakehurst and an exciting panel of experts including:

• Tony Whitbread, Sussex Wildlife Trust’s past president and woodland specialist;
• Paul Wood, explorer of nature in towns and cities, author of Tree Hunting;
• Juliet Sargeant, broadcaster, award-winning garden designer, author of Start with Soil;
• Olivia Sprinkel, world traveller, author of Hear the Trees Speak;
• Isabel Losada, author of The Joyful Environmentalist.

All books will be available for purchase on the day, or from Chapter 34 prior to the event.
