Winter Wreath Workshop with The Stubbornly Hopeful Club

Chapter 34 32-34 Brunswick Road, Shoreham By Sea, West Susssex, BN435WJ

Wreath workshops have become a luxury; exclusive events where you spend a lot of money to learn what is actually a relatively simple skill. We are all about stripping away the unnecessary capitalism, getting back to basics and celebrating our community by sharing skills and resources. And gang… Emily used to be a florist and Carmen used to upcycle found materials into art. So…

Come and spend a cosy morning getting creative with us as we snuggle in to the season and make a festive winter wreath.

We’ll have a range of materials, including responsibly foraged natural materials, beach cleaned fishing gear, paper, fabrics, ribbons and trinkets, but feel free to bring what you have to add to the joy.

Emily will bring her floristry skills and Carmen will bring her upcycling hacks and we’ll work together to make individual beautiful wreaths in your own style. It could be a book themed paper wreath, a forest or garden themed natural wreath, a beach wreath made from fishing nets and shells… bring your imagination and we’ll help with the rest.

Reclaim some time to be creative and celebrate the season. We’ll chat, thread, twist and layer and put the world to rights as we go.

Wreath frames and all materials provided and the coffee machine will be on.

Bursary places available, just ping us a message and we’ll add you to the list.
