I teach a general level class which will appeal to beginners of yoga and also beginners and improved practioners of Iyengar yoga.
I teach yoga poses (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) and each class is arranged to accommodate a selection of these. The weekly classes are structured so as each class will build week upon week. This way students will get a chance to understand their efforts and capabilities and will be able to work towards developing their full potential.
Please wear clothing that isn’t too loose fitting. Most people are comfortable in leggings or shorts and a t-shirt and it is best not to have a full stomach ahead of practicing yoga
For the class, I provide props such as yoga belts and blocks, which are often used to allow those with less strength or flexibility to work correctly and achieve their potential at that time.
