I discovered yoga as a tool to improve my mental health. At the time I was heavily involved with dance so the physical side appealed to me but it was when I began feeling the benefits of meditation that I got hooked. Even now my favourite personal yoga practise is finding a luxuriously comfy restorative pose from which I can practise yoga Nidra (a bit like a sleep meditation). After a five years of practising I began sharing yoga with friends and family and in 2020 took a teacher training in Hatha Yoga then Restorative Yoga.
